For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act 2018, Mediacle Limited is the data controller of personal data collected through this Website. Where Mediacle processes personal data on behalf of its business clients within its software platform, Mediacle acts as a data processor, and such processing is governed by the written agreement between Mediacle and the relevant client, not by this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies only to personal data collected through the Website. It does not apply to:

• personal data processed within the Mediacle software platform under a signed client agreement, which is governed by that agreement and any data processing terms within it;
• third-party websites, platforms or services linked to or from the Website, for which we accept no responsibility; or
• information you provide to us offline or through channels other than the Website.

We only use your personal data where the law allows us to. The purposes and lawful bases are:

• To respond to enquiries, demo requests, chat messages and correspondence — legitimate interests (responding to prospective and existing business contacts) and/or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
• To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Website — legitimate interests (running our business, network and information security, fraud prevention).

Some of the providers listed above (including Google, Microsoft, Hotjar, Tawk.to, Collect.chat, Brevo, Mailchimp, YouTube and Vimeo) may process personal data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States and the European Economic Area.
